| We
were delighted to be working with Walker Books for this event. Karen
spoke to Yrs 4 & 5 about her books and what inspired her, she
also read from her latest titles. After answering the children's many
questions Karen signed copies of her books |
| Karen
is the author of the best-selling Ally's World series, as well as
the Stella Etc. books, Marshmallow Magic and the Wild Rose Rouge.
Karen has a major new series of books this year about 10 year old
Indie Kidd, aimed at 8 year olds and over. How to be Good (ish), is
the first in the series, followed by Oops, I Lost My Best (est) Friends.
Karen loves writing and her fattest cat, Bysshe, loves to watch her
whilst she writes. The only problem is, he likes to get right up close,
and often the keyboard disappears under folds of ginger fur, as Bysshe
settles himself down for a purr and a stare. |
